Some intake flows have a natural point where the respondent needs to ask a question before they can answer one. What does this coverage actually include? What happens after I submit? Do I qualify if I work part-time?
An FAQ block can cover common questions, but it breaks the conversation. Instruct Mode keeps the flow intact.
Drop an Instruct Mode agent block onto an Intake Bot and attach markdown knowledge sources. When a respondent asks a question, the agent answers it using only what you attached. Nothing from the open web. Nothing it made up. If the answer isn’t in the attached knowledge, it says so.
Two configurations:
Standalone advisor. The block shows up as a dedicated Q&A step. Respondents ask questions and get answers. A persistent Continue or Finish button is always visible so they can move on whenever they’re ready.
Mid-collect Q&A. Inside a Collect Mode flow, the agent can answer a respondent’s question and then redirect back to gathering the fields it still needs. The conversation stays on track.
Previously there was no good answer for a respondent who had a question mid-flow. They could abandon, look things up elsewhere, or submit guesses. Instruct Mode gives them answers without breaking the intake.
Available on Pro plans and above.
Agent blocks can now answer respondent questions from attached markdown knowledge inside the flow. Instruct mode adds a zero-output knowledge-grounded advisor and mid-collect answer-then-redirect during slot collection. Responses are grounded only in builder-attached knowledge — never open-domain.
