Test Autopilot
Test Autopilot is a built-in testing tool that helps you verify the logic and flow of your Intake Bot. It automatically fills in fields and plays through the conversation so you can observe the behavior without manual interaction.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”You can find Test Autopilot inside the Intake Bot editor.
- Open the Intake Bot you want to test.
- Click the Test button in the top navigation bar.
- Select Autopilot from the testing options.
- Click Start Autopilot to begin the automated run.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Test Autopilot generates realistic data based on the field type and the locale settings of your bot. If you have a name field, it enters a name. If you have a date field, it picks a valid date.
The tool also handles AI negotiation retries automatically. If an AI-enabled field asks a follow-up question to clarify an answer, Autopilot provides the necessary information to satisfy the requirement.
You can adjust the speed of the run using the speed control slider. This allows you to slow down the conversation to inspect specific transitions or speed it up to reach the end quickly.
What it does not do
Section titled “What it does not do”Test Autopilot is strictly for testing purposes. It does not submit real data to your records or consume production AI credits. You can run as many tests as you need to perfect your conversation flow without worrying about usage limits or cluttering your database.
